Why do you sing with me at all?

One of my fav songs from Damien Rice, first heard it on LOST, heard it again recently on an episode of House. I do think that soundtracks are one of the most effective ways of getting one's song out, esp if the show's well-received: shows like Grey's Anatomy have pretty good soundtracks. Good music really brings out the poignancy of a scene.

Still trying to get down to working on my slides for the conference, haven't been really productive I must say though. Though the itinerary tt's planned seems pretty interesting! Ha. Hopefully I dun fall ill before the trip, family members have been coming down with flu and cough.

It's a cloudy, bleak, day today; cool and overcast. I was up when the rain started at my side of the island at 2am. Great weather for sleeping in.

BFF C's convocation's today, am really glad for her - take more pics yea! She's heading to Barcelona with her family next week - Just occurred to me that I was in Europe with her during this period last year!

Delicate - Damien Rice

We might kiss when we are alone
When nobody's watching
We might take it home
We might make out when nobody's there
It's not that we're scared
It's just that it's delicate

So why do you fill my sorrow
With the words you've borrowed
From the only place you've know
And why do you sing Hallelujah
If it means nothing to you
Why do you sing with me at all?

We might live like never before
When there's nothing to give
Well how can we ask for more
We might make love in some sacred place
The look on your face is delicate

So why do you fill my sorrow
With the words you've borrowed
From the only place you've know
And why do you sing Hallelujah
If it means nothing to you
Why do you sing with me at all?

So why do you fill my sorrow
With the words you've borrowed
From the only place you've know
And why do you sing Hallelujah
If it means nothing to you
Why do you sing with me at all?
